Weekly Rundown:

We though it would be a good idea to highlight some recent scams / rug pulls in the NFT space to remind everyone to stay safe and double check what they are buying/clicking into.

OpenSea phishing email: Yes to everyone's surprise Web 1 & Web 2 hacks still work on Web 3. There was an email impersonating OpenSea ahead of it changes to some contract structure telling users that it was now time to migrate their NFTs. The folks affected allegedly clicked on the link without checking the sender and gave the hackers access to their wallet. So please verify multiple times the emails you receive and if any of them ask you to connect your wallet instant 🚩🚩 🚩

Pranksy Rug Pull: The infamous NFT influencer/personality who a lot of us follow minted from a collection that turned out to be a scam. So just wanted to highlight this one because its important when you sign up to our services and you are able to receive alerts from folks buying and bidding into projects to always double check what you are buying into and not jumping in blindly behind influencers who after all are human and will make mistakes as well. You can still ape into projects but APE RESPONSIBLY! (Did we just find our tag line ?) I think so!
